Do not hesitate to apply, share it, or reach us for any further information, if you want to become a#climateguardian General Description The mission of this role is to strategically assess, develop and execute electricity market strategies for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and other energy assets. This profile will play a critical role in shaping the company's participation in energy markets, identifying value creation opportunities, and supporting market operations. Main Accountabilities Monitor and analyze electricity markets trends, price signals and policy development to assess implications for BESS and asset portfolio performance. Conduct in-depth market analysis for BESS and other energy asset technologies across targeted regions and market segments (e.g., wholesale, capacity, ancillary services). Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., business development, finance, operations) to align market analysis with project development and asset operations and elaborate/assess optimization strategies. Build, develop and maintain advanced quantitative models to simulate and optimize storage dispatch, bidding strategies, and revenue stream across the wholesale electricity market ensuring that models reflect real-world constraints, system limitations, and market behavior. Lead energy market analysis, including scenario analysis, to support and assist in strategic decision making as well as monitor third party bidding strategies. Prepare presentations, market briefs, and dashboards to communicate insights to senior leadership and key stakeholders. Deep understanding of market dynamics, regulatory structures, and the modeling techniques needed to evaluate, forecast, and enhance storage asset value (both co-located and stand-alone) jointly with renewable assets. Experience A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Energy Sector, proven track record in energy market and BESS analysis, optimization, and reporting. Familiarity with financial modeling for energy assets and revenue stacking strategies for BESS. Solid analytical and numerical skills with a strong affinity for data-driven decision-making. Teamwork, willing to learn market intel and apply current knowledge, grow and develop with the team. Academic Background Degree in Engineering, or a scientific-technological field with a strong understanding of energy markets.
