Senior Java Engineer who will contribute to a project with one of our global customers, that is a global leader in credit cards, auto loans, banking and saving accounts. 100% remote position for people located in Spain. Main tasks and accountabilities will be: Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable software As part of the DevOps model “you build it, you own it and you run it”, ensure stable and smooth maintenance of delivered software Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications Work effectively both independently and as part of a team Participate in complete Software Development Life Cycle, including occasional QA and peer review Work to achieve the goals and vision articulated by Product Management Innovate within your team, initiative area and contribute within your technical domain. What do we expect from you? Very strong Java programming skills and knowledge of building API’s Deep understanding of all stages in the Software Development Life Cycle Deep understanding of design patterns and principles (e.g. SOLID principles) Experience with different testing types : Unit Testing, API Testing, Acceptance Testing, Load Testing Experience with distributed architectures like SOA or MSA Experience with event-driven architectures Experience with REST APIs Relevant experience with AWS services (for mid profiles this is a desired skill, not a must) Experience with Gradle or Maven Experience with Enterprise Jenkins Experience working in an Agile fashion (e.g. Scrum, SAFe) Experiencia working with AWS English B2+ / C1 What can we offer? ✈️ 23 days of Annual Leave plus the 24th and 31st of December as discretionary days ❤️ Numerous benefits (Health Care Plan, teleworking compensation, Life and Accident Insurances).
