BFC is dedicated to serving the food industry through our adherence to robust and the highest standards of Manufacturing Services & Marketing of specialty ingredients, nutritional premixes, flavor compounds, spice and seasoning blends intended for different food applications. Our dedicated staff has more than 40 years of combined experiences in production, quality assurance, research and development, including sales and marketing. Our HALAL certified plant allows us to serve a wide range of markets, both local and international.
Likewise, in 2008, Blaine solidified its business of providing raw materials to the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, personal and home care industries through the creation of BLAINE PERSONAL AND HOME CARE CORP. Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, and production, to develop new food products and improve existing ones.
Conduct market research to identify trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities to inform product development strategies.
Assist in the formulation and testing of new recipes, ensuring products meet quality standards and customer expectations.
Ensure that all products adhere to safety standards, quality specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular audits of the production process and work closely with the quality assurance team to identify and resolve any issues.
Monitor product consistency and work on troubleshooting any deviations in quality or process.
Provide technical support and product training to customers, distributors, and sales teams to ensure a clear understanding of product features and benefits.
Address customer inquiries and complaints regarding product performance, quality, or usage, and work towards satisfactory resolutions.
Develop and deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions to both internal teams and external clients.
Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for product improvement or new product development.
Prepare detailed reports on product performance, including sales figures, customer satisfaction, and areas for improvement.
Support the sales team with data-driven insights to enhance product positioning and market penetration.
Stay informed about new ingredients, technologies, and manufacturing processes that could enhance product quality or reduce costs.
Provide technical input on packaging, labeling, and product specifications to ensure they meet both company standards and customer expectations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, or a related field.
Proven experience in product development, quality assurance, or a similar role in the food manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, quality control procedures, and industry standards.
Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
Ability to analyze market data and trends to make informed product recommendations.
Proficiency in using software for data analysis, project management, and communication.
At least 2 years of work experience in food manufacturing or sales and marketing of food ingredients.
