Senior .NET Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Developer to join our dynamic engineering team working on Sequel Claims, a robust enterprise application currently running on .NET 8, with plans to migrate to .NET 10 upon release. You’ll be part of a collaborative, international team of over 25 engineers, contributing to backend development and architecture in a fast-paced Agile environment. This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 days per week in our Málaga office, with the rest of the time remote. #LI-SD2 #LI-Hybrid Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend services using C# and .NET Core/.NET 8 Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment (2-week sprints, quarterly releases) Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of backend systems Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues Mentor junior developers and share best practices Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code Qualifications 5+ years of professional experience in backend development with C# and .NET Core Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and software design patterns Experience with .NET 8 and readiness to work with .NET 10 Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git) Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills Strong communication skills and ability to work in an international team Fluent in English (spoken and written) Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) is a plus About Us For over 50 years, Verisk has been the leading data analytics and technology partner to the global insurance industry by delivering value to our clients through expertise and scale.
