This is a backend-focused role with high ownership and real impact, working on Identity & Access Management, APIs and integrations for a platform used by some of the most demanding customers in the private capital space. #End-to-end ownership of backend initiatives High-performance APIs, integrations and access control systems Security, permissions and data privacy at scale Ruby on Rails · PostgreSQL · Redis · AWS · Kubernetes (Some TypeScript & React exposure, but backend is the core focus) #65 engineers globally, distributed across North America ~ Strong product-driven engineering culture ~ Opportunity to help shape a brand-new Barcelona engineering hub #Permanent contract ~ Hybrid model: 3 days per week remote ~ Flexible working hours ~ Private health insurance with Adeslas (family included)~€50/month phone & home internet allowance ~€500/year professional development budget ~ If you're a senior backend engineer who enjoys building secure, scalable systems and wants to be involved early in a new team, this could be a great next step.
