Research and propose artistic styles for UI according to the project’s genre and audience to nail the best composition, colouring, and rendering. Produce prototypes for new features and flows and iterate on them quickly based on collected feedback. Own both the interaction and visual design of the products, defining consistent UI components and guidelines following well-established patterns and standards. Be responsible for the UI implementation in-game, asset management, and optimization. Inspire innovative approaches to design, using creative facilitation techniques and taking the lead at stakeholder meetings and team brainstorm sessions. Take ownership of information organization, prioritization, and navigation flow in the game you work on. Abstract a design’s goal and KPIs, distilling the most important information the player needs to understand, and group and sequence it into simple flows. Benchmark competition and extract key insights that apply to your game’s UX research and design to develop a full pre-production feature proposal. Be prepared to grow: while solid skills in UI implementation are required, we provide an environment for growth so UI/UX designers can eventually design game features and develop UX research skills. What are we looking for? Extensive experience working as a UI/UX designer. Experience working with free-to-play games. A strong sense of visual aesthetics, proportions, colour theory, and typography. Proficiency in creating detailed UI mockups with variations and behaviors. Ability to run playtests and collect data to support your design decisions. Proficiency in Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator; mastery of Unity or similar tools is a strong bonus. Excellent written and verbal English skills. What’s in it for you as a Socialpointer?
