Role summary: As a Lead CloudArchitect at Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG), you will be responsible to design, implement, and maintaincloud-based infrastructure and artificial intelligence systems for the organization. You will help the EnterpriseArchitectin developing acloudand AI strategy as well as having a proper well-documented governance model to support and ensure that we as group IT have the needed tool to provide support and guidance to the business. Your primary tasks will be: Cloudarchitecture design: You will be responsible for designing thearchitecture ofcloud-based solutions and selecting the appropriatecloudplatforms and services to meet the organization's requirements. This involves considering scalability, availability, security, and cost efficiency. You will together with the enterpriseArchitectbe responsible for enhancing STGs venture into the artificial intelligence world, including machine learning models, natural language processing algorithms, computer vision systems, and other AI technologies. You will assess the feasibility and applicability of AI solutions to meet business objectives. Continuously monitor and optimize the performance ofcloud-based and AI systems, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, finical viable and secure. This may involve leading troubleshooting issues, fine-tuning algorithms, and optimizing resource utilization. Security and compliance: You will ensure thatcloud-based and AI systems adhere to security best practices and relevant compliance standards. This includes implementing access controls, encryption, and other security measures. Research and innovation: You will stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements incloudcomputing and AI technologies. You will explore innovative solutions, conduct research experiments, and recommend new tools or technologies to improve system performance and capabilities. You will document thearchitecture, design decisions, and implementation details ofcloud-based and AI systems. You will also communicate with stakeholders, including executives and clients, to explain technical concepts, new insights and updates on projects and outcomes. Your areas of knowledge and expertise (that matter the most for this role): Educational background - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field Technical Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, engineering, or similar roles. Proven experience designing and managing solutions on major cloud platforms, preferably Azure. Strong background in cloud security, including knowledge of identity & access management, encryption, and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR). Experience working with or deploying AI/ML systems, such as: Machine learning model development or integration. Natural language processing (NLP) or computer vision technologies. Familiarity with DevOps practices and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Azure Bicep. Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and governance models. Solid understanding of cost optimization strategies in cloud environments.
