Senior AI/ML Software Engineer

Looking for a Senior AI Software Engineer experienced in building scalable, production-grade AI/ML systems for live and on-demand media workflows. This person will own technical design for moderately complex AI initiatives and lead the development of next-generation applications powering millions of users across a multi-cloud platform. Core Responsibilities Architect, develop, and maintain end-to-end AI/ML solutions supporting live streaming and VOD workflows on AWS and GCP. Build scalable, data-driven pipelines and workflow orchestrations that enable new types of automated media analysis. Prototype and experiment with new AI approaches (LLMs, multimodal models, computer vision) and productionize successful models for large-scale use. Develop and integrate APIs (REST/GraphQL) to support internal tools, conversational agents, and automated video processing workflows. Collaborate closely with product, data, and engineering teams to translate media business needs into robust technical solutions. Contribute to CI/CD, model deployment tooling, monitoring, and reliability best practices for AI/ML systems. Core Requirements Proven professional experience as a Software Engineer, Machine Learning engineer, or Data Scientist. Deep understanding of the technical challenges and workflows involved in live media streaming and VOD content processing. Hands‑on experience working with vector databases and building applications with generative AI/LLMs. Strong background in distributed systems design and scalable batch/streaming pipelines on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP). Proficiency with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar ML frameworks. Experience designing and implementing REST or GraphQL APIs. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across multi‑disciplinary engineering teams. Nice to Have Strong proficiency in Python and/or Java. Experience analyzing broadcast or digital streaming video at scale. Familiarity with building SDKs or developer‑facing tools (e.g., Jupyter Notebook integrations). Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. Relevant academic publications, research, or contributions in AI/ML, media AI, or related fields.
