To meet the growing demand for AWS cloud computing capacity in EMEA, we are looking for a Commissioning Engineer to join our team.Key ResponsibilitiesMedium and low voltage power systemsGeneratorsUPSHVACChilled Water SystemsBuilding Management Systems (BMS)Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS)Testing and balancingPumps and Hydronic systemsThe Commissioning Engineer will provide multi-discipline input into scheduling, test script development, design, and planning of projects. They will review component submittal packages, lead Factory Witness Testing (FWT), perform system-level and integrated system testing, audit compliance with environmental, quality, and safety requirements, and provide comprehensive weekly reporting of status and lessons learned. The role covers multiple inflight projects.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldNETA or ASHRAE certification or commissioning specific education coursesKnowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipmentKnowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and ExcelExperience with the design, construction, operation, or maintenance of mission‑critical facilities, especially data centersPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of building codes and regulations for your regionKnowledge of commercial or industrial power systems or mechanical systemsExperience carrying design concepts through exploration, development, and deployment or mass productionExperience using a variety of web‑based and other software tools for calculation and data processingAmazon is an equal opportunities employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
