Overview Senior Game Designer (Systems and Economy) – Gameloft Barcelona. The studio behind mobile hits such as Despicable Me Minion Rush, Asphalt 8, Asphalt 9 and Disney SpeedStorm is hiring. Responsibilities Design fun and immersive gameplay mechanics following briefings. Prototype gameplay mechanics, document, implement in game, and fine-tune them. Contribute to creative work, benchmarking, documentation, and analysis tasks. Follow-up, maintenance, and continuous improvement of assigned features. Coordinate with art and development teams and the associated producer to align on project goals. Requirements Strong knowledge of game design fundamentals (3Cs, gameplay systems, learning curve, difficulty balancing, progression balancing, UI, accessibility). Proven experience (3+ years) in gameplay-related design and in a senior design role. Able to convey ideas concisely as part of detailed analysis and to formalize complex concepts. Able to illustrate and prototype ideas visually using standard industry tools (Photoshop, PowerPoint, Figma, Confluence, Sketch, Unity, etc.). Good documentation skills and a passion for creating video games. Knowledge of classic console and freemium mobile game markets. Motivation and ability to communicate with the project development team; receptive to feedback and committed to quality. Good level of English. Assets Experience working in racing games. Experience with multiplayer systems. Racing fan or gamer and high visual creativity. UI skills and ability to sketch and digitally create images or videos. Why Join the World of Gameloft?
