Technical Integration Consultant

Expedia Partner Solutions (EPS) is seeking an experienced and talented Technical Integration Consultant. As a Technical Integration Consultant, you will own and drive the technical integration discussions with various partners. You will work closely with our Business Development and Account Management organization. A passion for travel, a passion for technology and technology expertise combined with excellent communication skills and business acumen are critical to a Technical Integration Consultant's success.


What you'll do:
  1. Conduct workshop/presentation for technical team of affiliate partners on EPS Rapid API
  2. Communicate complex technical details to technical and non-technical customers
  3. Give practical advice on the use of EPS Rapid API to affiliate partners
  4. Identify best practices and proactively share the best practice with affiliate partners
  5. Analyze and troubleshoot highly complex technical integration problems and propose effective solutions
  6. Collaborate with the Level 1/2 support team with complex escalations that require direct contact with top partners
  7. Support affiliate partners in Europe
  8. Engage in pre-sales activity with the sales team and propose solutions to meet partner needs
  9. Proactively help the Business Development and Account Managers to identify opportunities for new product offerings
  10. Perform Quality Assurance tests on API sites prior to implementation
  11. Able to manage and prioritize responsibilities and handle multiple projects simultaneously

Who you are:
  1. Bachelor's degree; or equivalent related professional experience
  2. 2-4 years of experience in coding and software development
  3. Proficient in multiple programming languages including SQL
  4. Experience in Restful API and database schema design
  5. Comfortable using enterprise resource management programs and tools
  6. Experience in e-commerce and/or travel industry a plus
  7. Experience in AWS and/or Azure a plus
  8. Pre-sales experience, working with sales and business partners a plus
  9. Fluency in English is a must
  10. Available for up to 10% travel per year
  11. Excellent oral/written communication skills
  12. Good sense of business acumen
  13. Ability to deliver high quality and workable solutions for technical issues
  14. Ability to communicate technical specifications and troubleshoot without supervision
  15. Ability to creatively solve challenging business/technology problems
  16. Must be able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic and complex environment
  17. Familiarity with web-based and mobile-based product development and understanding of typical technology architecture for high-volume websites
  18. Bias to action around identifying opportunities for improvement
  19. Focus on priorities that matter to the business
