Senior UI/UX Artist for Casual Video Games

Job Description: As a UI/UX Artist, you will be responsible for designing and optimising user interfaces and user experiences for our HTML5 video games. You will work closely with designers, developers, and other artists to ensure our games are visually appealing and easy to use and enjoy.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. UI/UX Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in UI/UX design in the video game industry.
  2. Design Tools Proficiency: Mastery of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other graphic design tools.
  3. Design Tools Knowledge: Experience with tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, Miro and other design software.
  4. Strong Portfolio: Demonstrable portfolio with relevant UI/UX design projects for video games.
  5. Communication Skills: Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design ideas.
  6. Creativity and Detail: Attention to detail and ability to create visually impressive designs.

Desired Requirements:

  1. HTML5 Games Experience: Familiarity with HTML5 game development and design.
  2. Usability Knowledge: Experience in usability testing and data analysis to improve user experience.
  3. Animation Skills: Basic knowledge of animation to create smooth and attractive designs.

Duties:

  1. Interface Design: Create intuitive and attractive user interfaces that enhance the gaming experience.
  2. User Experience: Develop user flows and wireframes to ensure smooth and logical navigation.
  3. Graphic Design: Create and develop 2D icons, buttons, pop-ups and other in-game elements.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with the development team and the client to implement and adjust UI/UX designs.
  5. Prototyping: Create interactive prototypes for user testing and design concept validation.
  6. UI/UX Balance: Ensure all designs balance art and functionality.
  7. Feedback and Continuous Improvement: Gather user feedback and continuously adjust to improve UI/UX.
