If you're looking for a place where you can grow and make an impact at a fast-paced, exciting fintech startup, this might just be the place for you About the role We're looking for a curious and technically-minded Integration Engineer to join our Integrations team at Flanks.You'll work closely with our partners and internal teams to design, maintain and improve software integrations that power our financial data platform.Your mission will be to understand how our partners' software works, ensure seamless integrations, and help internal teams and clients make the most of these connections. You'll act as the bridge between the technical and non-technical worlds — translating needs, solving issues, and constantly finding ways to make our systems smarter and more efficient. What you'll do Here's what you can expect to work on: Collaborate with external partners to understand their APIs, data models, and technical requirements. Design, test, and maintain integration workflows using tools like Postman, SQL, and Python. Use GitHub for version control and collaboration. Troubleshoot and resolve integration incidents, coordinating with providers when necessary. Support internal teams (CSM, Product, Data) by explaining how integrations work and how they can be optimized. Proactively identify improvements and contribute to automation or process enhancements. Document integration processes and maintain clear technical references. What we'd love to see Solid understanding of APIs (REST/JSON) and experience testing them with Postman. Good command of SQL for querying and analyzing data. Experience using Python for automation or data handling. Basic experience with GitHub (pull requests, branching, reviewing code). Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. A curious mindset, structured working habits, and a strong sense of ownership. Language Proficiency: Professional proficiency in both English and Spanish to collaborate effectively in our bilingual environment . Nice to Have Previous experience working with financial or investment data. Familiarity with market data, products like funds, equities, or bonds.
