Work closely with and receive direction from engineering staff to apply mechanical, systems, and/or structural design engineering concepts into workable functional graphics. Mastery of parametric design tool, especially INVENTOR.

Develop assemblies and digital models of complexity incorporating modified concept in manufacturing, installation, and/or construction engineering drawings. Prepare parts, breakdown, and assemblies, integrating complete elements characterized by critical mechanical, structural, and/or functional spaces into the design of the facilities.

Assist with analysis of engineering drawings and models for product manufacturability/constructability, which includes checking for:

  1. Ease of interpretation
  2. Proper illustration
  3. Necessary data
  4. Correct and needed dimensioning
  5. Proper tolerances congruent with manufacturing costs and feasibility
  6. Proper surface finish and weld symbols
  7. Proper material specifications and related note data
  8. Proper material application and sizes
  9. Related drawing format requirements such as bill of materials
  10. Proper sign-off and release of documents via project-specific and/or department procedures

Calculate dimensions, tolerances, fits, slopes, weights, bends, etc. using experimental engineering information and formula.

Interpret specifications, references, etc. in use of established drawing principles.

Occasionally, take on-site measurements and data, assist with walk-downs, and support installation.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial projects.

Working experience using the following software: Inventor, Vault, Catia, AutoCAD.

Candidate should be EU citizen or authorized to work in Spain.

Fluent in written and spoken Spanish and able to work in English language.
