EPCM expertise, more than 10 countries around the globe but an entrepreneurial and teambuilding mindset.Now, we are looking for a BIM Coordinator in our office in Madrid, Spain.The BIM Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, supervising, and ensuring the quality of BIM models within industrial projects in an EPCM environment. While the primary focus is the industrial/piping discipline, the coordinator will also support and manage other disciplines when the project requires it.What is the role About?As a BIM Coordinator, you will supervise modelers, ensure compliance with corporate standards, and contribute to the development and maintenance of discipline-specific Work Instructions. This is a full-time, operational position with an active role in continuous improvement processes.ResponsibilitiesBIM Coordination Across DisciplinesCoordinate BIM activities primarily for the industrial discipline (piping/process/mechanical).Manage coordination tasks for other disciplines when required by the project.Lead clash detection and model coordination meetings (ACC Model Coordination / Navisworks Manage).Ensure traceability and closure of coordination issues.Supervision and Quality ControlSupervise BIM modelers and ensure the quality, consistency, and accuracy of their work.Review discipline models for LOD, parameter standards, naming conventions, and content.Validate BIM deliverables (models, drawings, exports, schedules, IFC packages).Documentation & Work InstructionsCreate, update, and maintain Work Instructions related to BIM workflows, software use, and discipline-specific processes.Ensure compliance with the corporate SOP and ISO 19650 requirements.BIM Environment and Data ManagementSet up and manage collaborative environments in Autodesk Construction Cloud.Oversee version control, issue management, and document workflows.Ensure interoperability between software platforms (Plant3D, Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, IFC).Support to Engineering TeamsProvide technical guidance on BIM methodologies and best practices.Troubleshoot model and coordination issues.Facilitate communication among multidisciplinary engineering teams.RequirementsA bachelor’s degree in industrial, Mechanical, Piping Engineering, or similar3–5 years of experience in industrial facility projects (pharma, chemical, oil & gas, data centers).Experience supervising BIM modelers and coordinating multidiscipline teams.Experience in projects of varying size (medium to very large).Fluency in English and Spanish; French and/or Dutch are a Plus.Strong Technical Skills in:Autodesk Plant 3DAutodesk RevitAutodesk AutoCADAutodesk Navisworks ManageAutodesk Construction Cloud (Docs, Model Coordination, Design Collaboration)Plus: Revizto, Asite or Intergraph Smart 3DProject management and leadership skills to plan, organize, and execute BIM initiatives.Analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex BIM-related challenges.High attention to detail and Excellent organizational skills.Mobility based on project requirements.BenefitsPermanent contractSafety, Prevention and Well-being are basics for us.Specialized in-house trainings designed to help you to get your next career step.Truly a place to spread your wings: career path.No glass ceiling We are committed to equal opportunities.Top clients and innovative projects.International environment and teams, with a presence in more than 10 countries.Great environment with Open Office Layout for you to meet co-workers and increase the outside-the-box thinking.Positive Work Vibes: we love work, sport and fun.Being an IPSer:Excellence, Innovation, Sustainability are a must in our projects.
