The Role We’re looking for an Animator & VFX Artist to create animations and visual effects for gameplay and UI, directly in Unity. You’ll work hands-on from early prototypes to live features, focusing on gameplay feel, clarity, and polish. You’ll collaborate closely with art, design, product, and engineering to make sure every interaction feels responsive and readable. You Will Create and implement 2D and simple 3D animations in Unity for gameplay and UI. Create real-time VFX using Unity Particle System for gameplay features and feedback. Work with developers to improve dynamic animations for core gameplay interactions. Create UI transition and feedback animations to improve flow and clarity. Iterate on animations and effects based on gameplay and product feedback. Optimize animations and VFX for mobile performance and stability. Find practical solutions to visual and technical challenges. Requirements Professional experience with Unity animation systems or Spine for 2D animation. Professional experience with Unity Particle System for real-time VFX. Strong understanding of animation principles for interactive systems. Ability to create both 2D and basic 3D object animations in Unity. Experience preparing and structuring assets for animation and VFX workflows. Good understanding of mobile performance constraints. Team-oriented, proactive, and comfortable owning features. Nice to Have Basic knowledge of Shader Graph or simple shaders. Experience with casual or puzzle mobile games.
