The OpportunityDescription Position at VIPRE Security GroupThis is a position that requires a high attention to detail and accuracy. It is a crucial team position. The QA Tester is one of the last people to see and verify that a course is ready to be released to the public.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborating with internal teams on delivering a quality product.Reviewing and providing feedback on course content regarding misalignment with course development standards, functionality and features issues, and issues regarding browser/device support.Playing an active role in improving processes, products, activities, and standards.Playing an active role in the meeting of product schedules.Education & ExperienceOutstanding ability to detect and identify anomalies, bugs, inconsistencies, etc.1-3 years of experience working as a proofreader, editor, QA tester or equivalent position.College degree preferred in a related field.Strong proactive communication skills.Excellent English grammar and written communication skills.Must be self-directed.Must be highly organized and detail-oriented, with a commitment to get the job done right.Preferred, but not required:Experience with GitHub.Experience with testing to ADA standards (Section 508).Experience with testing to WCAG standards.Experience with multimedia formats (ie .jpgs, mp4s, mp3s, closed caption files, etc).CompetencyStrong grammatical, prioritization, and communication skills.Must be fluent in English. The salary compensation for this role is 20,000 MXN to 23,000 MXN.
