We are looking for a System Architect to join our team The System Architect is responsible for defining and communicating a shared technical and architectural vision for solutions developed within the Retail of the Future program. Ensure execution of technical strategy for the Retail of the Future application landscape, focusing on development efficiency and reusability of components in a blueprint approach for rapid multi-market rollouts. Define non-functional requirements for secure and reliable operations, including test strategy execution. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or STEM related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with at least 2‑3 years in a leadership or advisory role. Certifications such as AWS Certified Architect or alternatives are preferred. Extensive professional experience in state‑of‑the‑art software development environments as a developer and/or architect of distributed, scalable cloud‑native applications. Software architectures (Microservices, Domain‑Driven Design, Event‑Driven Architectures) Designing secure, extensible, and cloud‑native solutions Proven track record in leading and advising technical teams on software development projects, with extensive knowledge and practical experience in cloud computing and software engineering. Strong understanding and experience in leading agile teams and swarms in IT. (Collaboration with cross‑functional teams (software engineers, DevOps, QA, business stakeholders). Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of the German language is a plus. Flexible entering hours ~30 working days of holidays ~ Annual Training Plan Full‑time Information Technology
