We are looking for a talented Backend Software Engineer with a strong focus on Python and Django development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building robust, scalable systems and possess the skills to design and implement high-performance backend services that power our financial products. Design and develop scalable backend services using Python and Django, focusing on our core financial products Implement robust data models and database schemas to support our financial services infrastructure Write clean, testable code with comprehensive unit and integration tests Optimize application performance and ensure high availability of our services Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience ~3+ years of professional experience in backend development with Python ~ Strong proficiency in Django, or other Python API frameworks (FastAPI, Flask) ~ Experience with SQL databases (preferably PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks ~ Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms ~ Solid understanding of version control with Git ~ Experience with testing frameworks (pytest, unittest) ~ Understanding of security best practices and data protection ~ What is important to point out is that you can do most or all of the above mentioned and can point to your real experience doing it. You've probably done it at companies of different shapes, sizes and industries.
