People Data & Systems Specialist at Alan Join Alan to apply for the People Data & Systems Specialist role. About the Role As Alan scales to over 600 employees, our People operations generate massive amounts of data. In this position you will act as the Guardian of Truth for the People Community, ensuring the reliability, security, and accuracy of our data while maintaining the technical stack that underpins our operations. Responsibilities Secure the Critical \"Run\" Cycles Performance Reviews: Own data production for bi‑annual review cycles, automate cohort computation and eligibility rules to guarantee 100 % accuracy. Compensation Hygiene: Maintain and secure salary dynamics models (GSheets/Turing) to ensure data integrity for fair compensation reviews. QPR Ownership: Lead the data generation for quarterly performance reviews across People, Talent, and Workplace. Tooling & Security Ownership Technical Administrator: Serve as Level 3 support and technical owner for core stacks (Lattice, Ashby, Alan Home), managing configuration, troubleshooting deep bugs, and handling renewal discussions. Security Referent: Automate access‑rights management and embed privacy‑by‑design principles in all data workflows. Unify People & Talent Insights Talent Analytics: Bridge hiring and retention data, connecting Ashby data to Metabase to track \"Quality of Hire\" and funnel velocity. Self‑Serve Dashboards: Build and maintain the Community Insights Dashboard to empower leads with real‑time metrics on team health without ad‑hoc requests. Qualifications Operational Rigor: Strong SQL skills and experience with BI tools (Metabase/Tableau); meticulous data handling. Systems Mindset:> Comfortable administering SaaS tools (HRIS, ATS) and understanding data flows between them. Structured Communication: Translate complex logic (e.g., review eligibility) into clear explanations for stakeholders. Builder: Beyond running queries, hunt down root causes and fix broken processes.
