About the role

What you need to know:

  1. Underwrite Assigned risks: Cyber and PI Tech, focused on technological risks. He/she will work in the product ‘CyberEdge’ and eventually can be involved with other products within Financial Lines.
  2. To comply with the terms of personal underwriting authority.
  3. Exercising judgment, negotiating and making sound business decisions effectively based on level of authority.
  4. Develop relationships with brokers.
  5. Identify cross-selling opportunities with different Lines of Business.
  6. Drive sales process on new products.
  7. Assist Front Desk Unit/Customer Service Group.
  8. Maintain a list of target and generate submission to meet NB targets.
  9. Knowledge of Underwriting concepts, practices, procedures and techniques.
  10. Review, evaluate and recommend modifications to underwriting guidelines.
  11. Support the SME strategy implementation. Work closely with the SME manager to drive cyber facilities.

What we’re looking for:

  1. Relevant experience in Commercial insurance or IT and/or Data Protection consulting preferred.
  2. Engineering, Information Technologies (IT), Business Administration or Economics university degree preferred.
  3. Knowledge of international security standards.
  4. Knowledge of Risks analysis methodologies.
  5. Fluent English skills (written & spoken).
  6. Outgoing and entrepreneurial personality.
  7. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Negotiating, communications and presentations skills.
