Your role at Hostinger We're looking for a YouTube Scriptwriters Team Lead who leads through storytelling, not syntax. Someone who can look at one video and see ten angles. Someone who optimizes for impact, not perfection. Someone who makes our writers better, our content sharper, and our team faster—all while keeping it fun and human. You'll lead a team of scriptwriters, shape our content strategy, and work across video production, SEO, locale channels, and analytics teams to create YouTube content that reaches millions and empowers them to build their online presence. Connect with your team: Emma Young, Head of Organic Marketing Your day-to-day Develop and execute YouTube content strategy across long-form, Shorts, and series formats Lead, coach, and mentor a team of scriptwriters—help them think strategically, not just execute Design and interpret creative tests (hooks, angles, formats) to optimize watch time, CTR, and conversions Maintain Hostinger's brand and tone of voice across all scripts Collaborate with video production, SEO, locale channels, and analytics teams to create high-impact content Use AI strategically for ideation, research, and workflow optimization Build systems that help the team scale without creating bottlenecks Take full ownership of team output, deadlines, and quality Your skills and experience Must-haves: 3+ years of experience in content marketing, scriptwriting, or leading creative teams Proven leadership abilities—you mentor, inspire, and foster accountability while staying decisive and drama-free Native-level English proficiency with strong storytelling instincts YouTube platform expertise (algorithm optimization, analytics) Experience designing creative tests and translating data into strategy AI literacy—knows when AI helps and when it hurts Experience with OKR planning—you'll fully own script planning and execution Strategic mindset that connects content goals to business growth metrics Excellent stakeholder management—equally comfortable with video editors and executive presentations Thrives in fast-paced environments and sees failed experiments as learning opportunities Experience managing remote/distributed teams Nice-to-haves Understanding of tech products (or ability to learn fast) Multi-channel thinking—sees how one piece works across platforms Video production knowledge Benefits for you 360 Growth: We provide limitless learning opportunities: access to platforms like Reforge and Coach Hub, global conferences, feedback culture, digital libraries, and industry-leading subscriptions.
