PhD candidate or Postdoctoral researcher: Join IMDEA Materials Institute, a leading research organization in Material Science and Engineering, to contribute to a groundbreaking project, BIOMET4D. This project aims to revolutionize reconstructive surgeries through the development of shape-morphing implants for dynamic tissue restoration.

Eligibility/Qualification: Candidates should minimally have a B.S. in Materials Science/Materials Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field, with strong academic credentials. Post-doctoral candidates are also encouraged to apply.
Job Description: The selected candidate will conduct research tasks as part of the BIOMET4D project, focusing on in vitro characterization of materials and devices, adhering to standards such as ISO 10993. Additional tasks include assisting in material degradation studies, device characterization, and bioreactor development. Strong involvement in communication and dissemination activities, including Open Science practices, is expected.
