Join us for a future where making games is as thrilling as playing them Position Overview: We are looking for a talented and skilled VFX artist to join our internship program. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with experienced professionals who will mentor and guide you in crafting our minimalist and visually stunning puzzle game, Two Dots As a VFX artist intern, you´ll will be involved in shaping the visual art supporting the overall game design and user experience of the project, and especially, you´ll be contributing in creating minimalist visuals according to the art direction, consistent with the whole project fitting the game mechanics and features as required.  You´ll work closely with a talented team formed by designers, developers and artists in order to learn about the production cadence of new puzzle mechanics and features at the project. Most importantly, you will be working closely with a Senior VFX artist who will mentor you throughout the internship. What You'll do: Create special effects based on particle systems, trails, sprites and other 2d and 3d elements. Design and create the necessary special effects for each feature. Maintain a consistent style working hand in hand with the Senior VFX Artist and the Art director. Collaborate with the Technical artists, Designers and other team members in order to maximize the visual spectacularity using particle systems and other elements. What You Bring:  Solid knowledge of Unity particle system creation and other special effects. Solid experience implementing assets in Unity. Good knowledge of Photoshop & After Effects Highly motivated and passionate about videogames High level of English, both written and spoken (English is our official language) Bonus: Ability to quickly create VFX mockups using Unity or After Effects before investing significant time into final production assets.  In depth knowledge of the real time techniques used on video-game development. Highly creative Previous experience on the game development industry as VFX artist Previous experience creating 2D effects What's in it for you as a Socialpointer?
