Job DescriptionSingapore Airlines is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Cargo Spain to lead the Cargo division in Barcelona, Spain. This key leadership role combines both commercial and operational oversight, ensuring the efficient management and growth of our cargo business in Spain. You will drive strategic initiatives to maximize revenue, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer experience, while managing day-to-day operations and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver optimal performance.Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial Strategy & Revenue Growth: Lead the commercial strategy for Cargo operations in Spain, driving revenue growth through market analysis, customer engagement, and identifying new business opportunities. Work closely with sales teams to ensure alignment on customer needs, service offerings, and pricing strategies.Customer Relationship Management: Performance Analysis & Reporting: Lead performance tracking and reporting for both commercial and operational aspects of the business. Analyse cargo volume, revenue trends, and operational performance to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous efficiency gains.Team Leadership & Development: Lead and develop a high-performing team within the Cargo division, ensuring effective communication, motivation, and continuous professional development. RequirementsMust have the right to work and live in Barcelona, Spain Fluent in English and SpanishDiploma / Degree in Logistics, or a related field (preferred).Minimum 5-7 years of experience in cargo management, logistics, or transportation, with a focus on both commercial and operational aspects.Proven experience in leading teams and managing cross-functional projects, with a track record of driving business growth and operational excellence.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights to improve both commercial and operational outcomes.In-depth knowledge of cargo operations, including regulatory compliance, customs procedures, capacity management, and industry best practices.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with cargo management systems (e.g., Amadeus, CargoSpot) is advantageous.As part of a global leader in aviation, you will contribute to driving growth and excellence in a key market.
