Senior Murex IT Consultant to support and deliver Market Risk (MRB) Murex projects within Santander's Markets Risk Product Team. You will work closely with Risk users, Functional teams, and IT squads in a transformational (AS-IS → TO-BE) environment. You will be part of one of the following squads: P&L Cycle Structural Data Valuation Cycle Metrics Cycle Capital Cycle The role involves hands-on Murex support, configuration, certification, and deployment , with a strong focus on MRB Market Risk modules . Key Responsibilities Develop, support, and integrate Murex services and operations with other applications Support Market Risk users and gather requirements for new initiatives Maintain and improve technical competencies through training and upskilling initiatives Prepare technical documentation aligned with Group Development Policies Certify software and integrations through defined testing and certification cycles Package and deploy solutions across multiple environments Handle incidents, enhancements, and support requests related to MRB / Full Reval modules Coordinate with Murex vendor (case opening, follow-ups, patches)Required Experience 6+ years of hands-on Murex experience Strong expertise in Murex v3 installations Deep knowledge of MRB Market Risk module Experience in Market Risk IT support and project delivery Global Murex Knowledge Murex v3 installation and configuration Murex services, standard menus, and log analysis GUI expertise including: EOD processes Datamart, Extractions, PS, BoF MDRS (Market Data)Start/Stop of Murex services Installation of Murex binaries and patches Strong communication with Risk and Functional xohynlm teams MRB Market Risk Expertise Understanding of VaR calculations in Murex Full MRB module installation and configuration MRB menus and services Scenario containers and scenario imports Execution of RUNS, EXPORTS, and VaR calculations Ant script configuration and automation Support for MRB / Full Revaluation processes Technical Skills Murex (Core, Services, Datamart, MRB, Full Reval)Oracle / SQL Shell Scripting JavaScript Python Agile methodologies JIRA & GitHub Language English – Professional working proficiency
