Contingent Buyer

Our client company, located in Valls, Tarragona, is currently seeking a Contingent Buyer to temporarily join their Non-Production Purchasing Department. In this role, you will report directly to the Purchasing Manager Non-Production and have the opportunity to actively contribute to strategic sourcing projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and bring innovative solutions in a dynamic and global environment. We are looking for a passionate professional with experience in procurement and negotiation, capable of working both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have strong strategic thinking skills and the ability to add value to the companys internal operations. Key Responsibilities include: ·  Lead sourcing and negotiation activities across assigned spend categories. ·  Support category strategy execution and contribute to cost-saving initiatives. ·  Manage transactional procurement tasks, including purchase order creation and processing in alignment with Lears procurement-to-pay system. ·  Provide strategic procurement solutions to internal stakeholders across global operations. ·  Build strong relationships with operational teams, offering expert guidance and value-driven procurement options. ·  Present confidently to management and functional leaders within manufacturing and processing environments. ·  Track purchasing activities, report on KPIs, and communicate progress and challenges regularly. ·  Collaborate with central Non-Production Purchasing and multi-site business units. ·  Focus on non-production spend areas, including catalog creation and price negotiations. Proven experience in operational and tactical procurement is a plus. Background in large multinational corporations, ideally in Finance, Logistics, HR, Procurement, or IT is a plus.
