The Automation Engineer - Microsoft Power Platform will be a key member of our Delivery Team, with a specific focus on leveraging the Microsoft Power Platform to create innovative solutions for our clients. As an Automation Engineer , you will design, develop, and deploy workflows that streamline business processes, increase efficiency, and enable digital transformation across a wide array of industries.Responsibilities Develop and maintain solutions using Microsoft Power Platform services such as Power Automate , Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents .Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define automation requirements and establish best practices.Provide insights and strategies for process optimization utilizing Microsoft Power Platform capabilities.Deliver across the full lifecycle of projects , from conception and design through to development, testing, deployment, and support.Support workshops and training sessions for internal teams and clients to ensure effective adoption of automation solutions.Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to automation solutions .Stay up-to-date with the latest updates and features within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem and evaluate their applicability to current or future automation projects.Ensure and maintain regular close client contactJoin and lead weekly project update meeting on the status of the technical implementation of the automation(s)Actively implement best practicesCommunicate and manage requirements with the clients service departmentRequirements Training in Computer Science, Business & Information Systems Engineering, or related technical field or equivalent with minimum duration of 2 yearsAt least 2 years' experience developing Power Platform solutionsExperience and training in conventional programming, preferably with .NET, C#, VBA or JavaExperience with other application/automation and integration tools (such as UiPath, Celonis, Appian etc.) is desirableUnderstanding of AI and Cognitive Services to enhance automation solutions would be a strong advantageExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure strong customer relationshipsUnderstanding of customers' processes, with experience in process consulting being advantageousFluent in English and/or SpanishA truly international environment, collaborating on global automation projects.The opportunity to experiment and innovate with Agentic AI solutions as we pioneer and rebrand our offering in the consultancy spaceWork at the core of the automation and AI wave — we’re a pure-play automation company fully focused on innovation and future-ready solutions.A growth-focused environment where you’re empowered to develop , excel , and contribute meaningfully — no corporate silos, no red tape.This is not your standard corporate job — we value initiative over hierarchy, and you’ll have room to make a real impact from day one.An amazing Barcelona office in the city centre, complete with a sunny terraza to enjoy your breaks.A vibrant team culture , collaborative spirit and culture you can’t experience anywhere elseWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
