Job Purpose

Manage and execute Vueling's aircraft transition program, coordinating seamless entries, exits, and intra-group movements of aircraft within the fleet, strictly adhering to established budgets and regulatory standards, with the overarching goal of optimizing fleet efficiency, substantially minimizing aircraft downtime, and ensuring the cost effectiveness of each transition, while upholding the highest standards of technical and operational compliance.

Main Responsibilities - Tasks

• Manage aircraft delivery and redelivery projects, meeting deadlines and budget targets.

• Oversee cost control and ensure financial transparency.

• Negotiate aircraft lease agreements and technical acceptance processes.

• Coordinate annual lessor audits and ensure compliance with agreements.

• Contract Part 145 organizations for major inspections.

• Manage resources and personnel during critical transition phases.

• Supervise supplier performance and the creation of work packages.

• Oversee engine, APU, and landing gear changes, ensuring contractual compliance.

• Control materials management and documentation with Flydocs.

• Serve as the point of contact with AESA to secure regulatory approvals.

• Collaborate with the compliance team to enhance regulations and procedures.

Education

• Engineer Degree
  

Experience

• Minimum of 5 Years: Experience in aircraft transition projects, including both acceptance and redelivery of aircraft.
• Engineering Degree: Preference for an Aeronautical Engineering degree or a closely related field.
• Demonstrable experience in Project Management
