Location : Barcelona Business Analyst Intern. Description: As a Business Analyst Intern, based in our Barcelona office, you will form part of the Business Analyst department, which reports to the Underwriting Operations Department of Financial Lines. During a 6-month full-time internship, you will be working as a liaison between the Business and the Technology Department to improve our operating systems. The Business Analyst intern will be a member of the Business Analyst team (comprising 6 people) to coordinate, communicate, and validate requirements for implementing changes to business processes, aiming to improve efficiency and quality. This will be achieved by analyzing existing processes, proposing business improvements, highlighting any related pain points, and recommending solutions. Rest assured that initial training will be provided to set you up for success. Responsibilities: On the day to day: Gain basic understanding of all elements of the operative systems: Pega, ERS, La Rambla, DQ Pro. Participate in the Sprint deployments by using agile development principles: Test the bugs/stories in the UAT environment (for DQ Pro, Web-based tools) Communicate the UAT results Be the point of contact to create the operative systems user profile access for new joiners. Project work: Support the creation and setup of a SharePoint page to promote the Business Analyst team and centralize project documentation. Assist in testing and updating Power BI reports and maintain the Power BI user manual. Contribute to data cleaning and quality control across various applications. Cross-check and validate user access rights across systems to ensure accuracy and compliance. Conduct AI-driven testing to explore automation opportunities Assist the BA team in preparing training video scripts and related documentation. Requirements: Advanced level of English (written and spoken). Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress). Organized, structured, and eager to learn. Interest in operational systems, process improvement, or project management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Enthusiastic about working in an international environment. Profile: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proactive and solution-oriented, with a sense of ownership and accountability. Service-minded approach to internal stakeholders. Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
