This unique blend of technology, data and passionate people serves as a catalyst for all businesses aiming to unlock their full potential in the travel arena.HBX Group comprises four best‑in‑class B2B brands that meet the needs of its growing and diverse client base across 190+ global markets.Job SummaryWe are looking for a Solution Architect to join our team, working within our agile teams focusing on design, impact analysis and outcome of our solutions.Our Solution Architects interface heavily with our Enterprise Architects protecting outcome and estimates and adhering and contributing to the overall agreed strategy, standards and guidelines.Our Solution Architects also create tech interest, generating “buzz” about the latest developments from a technical perspective and applicability in their domain.Job ResponsibilitiesEnsure technological performance by design, right‑sizing, scalability and reliabilityEnsure that architectural standards and best practices are followedEnsure the Definition of Done is followed at technical levelAnalyze technical trade‑offsContribute to the scope definitionDefine non‑functional requirementsContribute to the Definition of Done definitionGuardian of the services’ security and performance.Support the team during significant technological changesContribute decisively to the definition of reference architectures and standardsDetect weaknesses and failure points within the solutions and propose improvementsKey figure for the reduction of technical debt and technological evolutionParticipate and drive keeping technical documentation up to dateCollaborate in defining the technical and functional monitoringNegotiate with the product leads the prioritization of those initiatives that are considered important for our technological evolution.Advocate of new technological featuresRequired Skills3+ years of software or platform design and experience in E2E architecture solutionsBachelor or Master in Computer Science or a related degree.Experience designing and implementing Architectures using different database and cache types and messaging technologies such as Kafka, Redis, Postgres or alternativesExperience with frontend technologies such as Django and ReactExperience with backend technologies (especially) in Python and or JavaExperience working in hybrid‑cloud environments including AWS and / or GCPExperience designing and implementing Distributed SystemsKnowledge of continuous delivery processes and toolsStrong written and verbal communication skills in both English and SpanishTechnical reference and leadership abilitiesStrong technical, logical, analytical and problem‑solving skillsGood communication and influencing skillsTeam player with an agile mind‑setAble to work under pressure and with shifting prioritiesAbility to think outside the box, multi‑task and efficiently managing timeGood learning attitudeAdvanced English required.Nice to haveExperience working with Agile Methodologies such as Scrum or SafeAt HBX Group, we believe that diversity drives innovation and makes travel a force for good.
