Our teams stow deliveries, pick products, package them up and ship them out.We’re looking for a detail‑oriented leader to join our Inventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA) and Inbound Support Services (ISS) team. You will ensure we continue delivering as reliably as ever to our customers, with all teams maintaining their performance and quality of service.ResponsibilitiesManaging the site‑based Inventory Control and Quality Assurance team.Maintaining Health and Safety standards within your sphere of influence, actively promoting a positive Health and Safety culture on‑site.Monitoring KPIs regarding accuracy and integrity of Quality and Inventory transactions; then providing feedback to Operations where necessary.Reviewing and analyzing customer defect data, while developing corresponding action plans to reduce and eliminate causes of any issues.On a daily, weekly and monthly basis: developing and executing action plans for increasing quality, inventory accuracy and service satisfaction.Partnering with Management in the communication of Inventory Control and Quality Assurance policies and procedures: keeping an eye on compliance in your Fulfillment Center.Carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Amazon’s wider policies and procedures, including interviewing and training both exempt and non‑exempt employees.Assuming accountability for setting and meeting operational goals.Planning and forecasting.Assigning and directing work and employee deliverables.Performance appraisal of team members.Rewarding and disciplining employees where appropriate.Building an understanding of Fulfillment Center inventory systems and processes, and providing assistance and expertise for problem‑solving wherever possible.Acting as the primary link between Corporate Retail teams and Fulfillment Center Operations.Investigating, managing, and re‑escalating Retail, Vendor, and Catalog tickets to resolve receiving and inventory issues.Supporting the resolution of problem items that cannot be received under standard receiving conditions.Communicating clearly with associates and leaders to provide instructions, updates, and escalation status.Maintaining safe, organized work areas while supporting consistent operational performance and customer experience.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or equivalent qualification.Demonstrated solid proficiency in time management skills, alongside confidence in organising vast amounts of data.Resilient, focused problem solver and self‑starter, with the ability to multi‑task and prioritize in a complex, occasionally ambiguous environment.Proven ability to influence, with varying levels of seniority within an organisation.Previous experience in inventory placement and optimisation.Fluent user of the entire MS Office suite, especially Excel; MS Access experience is a plus.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the local language and in English.Preferred Qualifications2+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, for tracking, reporting, and analysis.Experience working in a Fulfillment Center, Receiving, ICQA, or Operations support function.Strong analytical abilities, including proficient mathematical and data analysis skills, with experience in inventory analysis and topography optimisation.Expertise in data mining and data preparation, with the ability to turn large data sets into actionable insights.Ability to quickly learn and apply new software systems and data analysis tools.Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and continuous improvement techniques.Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to investigate issues, identify root causes, and drive resolution.Effective communicator, able to work cross‑functionally with associates, managers, and corporate stakeholders.Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment with competing priorities.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
