This role is focused on building and scaling backend services and APIs that power modern financial products. You’ll be working with distributed systems, collaborating closely with product, support, and customer-facing teams, and contributing to technical decisions that have real impact.ResponsibilitiesBuilding and maintaining scalable, secure backend services and APIsWorking closely with product managers and stakeholders to shape requirementsTroubleshooting and debugging production issues alongside support teamsParticipating in code reviews and contributing to strong engineering standardsWriting clean, reliable, and maintainable codeLearning about open banking, PSD, and what can be built using modern APIsQualificationsExperience with Java and the Spring frameworkExperience working with microservices and KubernetesComfortable debugging distributed systems, including tracing and observabilityExperience designing RESTful APIs and understanding design trade-offsAn API-first, product-minded approach to engineeringAble to work independently while supporting wider team goalsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with strong commercial experienceCurious, driven, and comfortable working in a fast paced, startup-style environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
