Project Engineer position in FPGA programming for quantum communication experiments ICFO is offering a Project Engineer position to a well-qualified, highly motivated, and dynamic young scientist who wishes to enhance his/her scientific career in a friendly and stimulating environment. The successful candidate will be joining the Optoelectronics group led by Prof. Dr. Valerio Pruneri to focus on FPGA development to implement practical protocols oriented toward the space segment of Quantum Key Distribution (QKD). These initiatives are part of a technological development project collaborating with companies from the Aerospace and Quantum Technology sector and other research institutions. The task will be carried out in collaboration with research group members who have extensive experience in Quantum Communications and the design of embedded systems for the practical implementation of these protocols.
