As a Sr. Manager, Employee Relations and Compliance (ERC) for our EMEA region and global process, you will be a pivotal leader responsible for developing and enhancing ERC (EMEA) strategies. You will ensure seamless service delivery, operational efficiency, and best‑in‑class employee experience while partnering with HR teams, business leaders, and external stakeholders. Job Responsibilities Employee Relations (ER) Development and Management Reinvent and redefine the Employee Relations and Compliance function with the core delivery of an ER and Compliance playbook, incorporating feedback from key stakeholders. Develop and approve comprehensive policies and frameworks that support ER and compliance. Drive company awareness and understanding of ER and compliance policies. Improve compliance with ER policies and reduce the number of incidents and grievances. Provide guidance on complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies. Coach and develop HR partners across HRBP, L&D, HR Ops, and others, using internal and external resources to strengthen rigor. Ensure global application of critical ER and compliance policies, guidelines, and working norms. Maintain clear communication with employees throughout the case resolution process. Serve as primary owner of maturing and developing our practice, with additional duties as assigned. Utilize strong project management skills to drive implementation of policies, updates, and compliance initiatives. Visual Management and Compliance Tracking With legal support, drive visual management into ER and compliance tracking using a harmonized approach for global compliance. Establish tracking mechanisms for investigations and complaints, harmonised with global compliance. Implement visual management tools to create data‑oriented content for data‑based decisions. Use data analytics to identify trends, assess intervention effectiveness, and inform continuous improvement. Regularly review and update policies based on feedback and compliance trends. Drive communication strategies on data trends and outcomes with senior Circana leadership. Audit Management and Compliance Reporting Lead audit management activities and deliver compliance reporting for EMEA and global HR requirements. Collaborate with internal and external audit teams to ensure adherence to organisational, statutory, and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions. Policy Updates and Legislative Compliance Monitor changes in state, federal, and international laws that impact HR policies; adjust approaches proactively. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to update HR policies in response to new legislation. Communicate policy changes to employees, ensuring understanding and compliance. Conduct regular audits to ensure current law and regulation compliance. Provide training and resources on new legislative requirements and policy updates. Maintain a proactive approach to legislative changes, minimizing risk and ensuring compliance. Qualifications 3–5 years of Employee Relations (EMEA) experience within global organisations exceeding 500 employees. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law, or related disciplines. Prior experience in Employee Relations, Internal Audit or Compliance, Labor Relations preferred. Demonstrated experience partnering with European Works Councils and managing collective consultation processes in multinational environments. Strong understanding of global HR compliance standards and best practices. Proven experience leading HR projects and initiatives. Adaptability and problem‑solving abilities in complex, fast‑paced environments. Self‑starter with proven ability to prioritise, manage multiple tasks, and adhere to SOPs. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strategic and analytical thinking with a focus on results. Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with employees and internal departments. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to synthesise information from diverse sources to take appropriate action. Proven ability to achieve results through independent and/or collaborative work.
