Mid Level Backend Engineer – ParserParser is a fast‑growing technology organization redefining productivity paradigms in the software engineering industry. We offer a flexible, distributed model and high‑caliber expertise, having experienced triple‑digit growth over the past five years.What You'll Do:Develop and test software applications, ensuring they meet design requirements.Collaborate with team members to co‑develop solutions and resolve problems.Build new technical expertise in specific engineering areas.Apply software design principles, data structures, patterns, and fundamentals to write clean, maintainable, optimized, modular code with clear naming conventions.Utilise database design knowledge to address data requirements.Coordinate stakeholder input and collaboration efforts when developing solutions.Recognise when policies and processes should be standardised versus when variation is appropriate.Support holistic solutions that integrate structure, people, processes, and technology.Apply formal training methods to current workloads.Report work status clearly.What You'll Bring:3+ years of software development experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 2+ years with a Master’s degree.Experience building and maintaining software projects in production environments on public or hybrid cloud infrastructure.Proficiency in a JVM language (Java, Scala, Kotlin) with moderate familiarity in other languages.Experience with data storage (SQL, NoSQL), designing scalable API access patterns, and integrating distributed services.Understanding of relevant technologies within your specialization as part of a broader ecosystem.Ability to see how projects fit within team objectives.Experience working with moderately complex systems.Effective testing and monitoring of personal code.Familiarity with testing and monitoring tools.Proficiency in debugging applications.Understanding of how team goals align with business needs.Location:Madrid, Spain – Hybrid model, 2–3 days per week in the office.Benefits:Opportunity to join an organization with triple‑digit growth redefining software product development.Part of a multicultural community of tech experts.Highly competitive compensation package.Medical insurance.Come and join our #ParserCommunity.#J-18808-Ljbffr
