React Developer

Here is a little taste of your challenge: Proficient general knowledge in mobile application development Experience working with Android and iOS platforms. Knowledge of Javascript, React Native, React, Redux, Circle CI, Deep Linking. Multiple years of professional experience in software development (not including student projects or internships) relevant to the field of work of this position Advanced knowledge in the React Native framework for maintaining and advancing a mobile application as a core company product. Experience doing end to end testing. Experience in peer programming sessions, code reviews and prepared technical documents up to the level required by ISO certification. introducing innovative techniques and tools into the codebase, thereby enhancing High degree of self-organization regarding the accepted responsibilities Creation, verification and implementation of complex software designs and systems based on defined requirements. Deep insight into standard technologies for performance issue analysis as well as improvement and bugfix development Deep knowledge of quality guidelines such as software patterns, coding conventions, or best practices Proactive knowledge sharing with team members and co-workers, advising and mentoring in areas of proven expertise. High level of knowledge in software testing and test-driven development. Quality-driven, proactive mindset for reacting to any issue of the component promptly and effectively. Able to reach appropriate levels of code coverage with automated unit and integration tests. Who are you? There is no set route to become Software Engineer in Bridgestone Mobility Solutions. But to be successful in this role, this is the kind of profile we have in mind: An academic degree in Computer Science or comparable main subject Great communication skills, holistic and systemic thinking, goal-orientation, quality-focus, versatile problem-solving skills, an open mind as well as at least 2 years of experience in commercial software development. Experience with at least one or ideally some of the following languages, technologies or principles: Java, Spring, JavaScript, React Native, SQL, REST, scripting languages such as Python, and let’s not forget data structures, separation of concerns, complex distributed systems, message-driven architectures, enterprise integration patterns. Especially cross-platform mobile application programming will be a significant part of your work at the momment Quick learner Fluency in English (written and spoken). Notions of Spanish is mandatory. A desire to work as part of an international organization and cooperate with other software engineers, system engineers, architects, product owners and external partners across multiple locations. Being open-minded when it comes to technology choices. We work in cross-functional teams, so it will be useful to have a variety of experience and technical interests as you may come across assignments that also involve front-end development (e.g. with HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, React, or other technologies), or scripting in various languages (e.g. Groovy, shell, etc.).
