Construction Technician

Description Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Construction Technician to join Europe’s largest airline group.This is an excellent time to join as we look to grow to over 800 aircraft and 300m guests per year within the next 10 years. The successful candidate will oversee a range of construction projects across Europe including Aircraft Hangars, Flight Simulator Facilities, Office Fitouts and many different and interesting construction projects. In this role, you will be overseeing a variety of projects and your main job is to ensure that the project is completed safely, on time and within budget.Please submit all resumes in English onlyDuties Promote Health and Safety as the key goal and implement Ryanair Health and Safety standards and cultureAssume the role of Clients’ representative on all mattersCollaborate with contractors, engineers, architects etc. on key specifications of the projectEvaluate progress and prepare detailed reports on cost, time and qualityCost: Ensure no project cost overruns and any change orders are agreed prior to implementationTime: The delivery date is crucial, the ability to see issues ahead and track against agreed programsQuality: Ensure that the project is delivered using best methods and engineering resultsRequirements BSc/BA in relevant Construction / Engineering DisciplineProven experience in Managing Construction Projects from inception to completion with 5+ years experience in a similar role and a track record of deliveryExcellent working knowledge of Building Permitting and Environmental Permit procedures, as well as design development and preconstruction managementInvolvement in Building design and pathways to constructionIn-depth understanding of construction and project management principlesFamiliarity with quality and health and safety standardsGood knowledge of MS Office essential & AutoCAD are essentialOutstanding communication and written skills in EnglishExcellent organizational and time-management skillsA team player with leadership abilitiesBenefits Competitive salaryUnrivalled career progressionCompetencies Budgets/Cost ControlManaging for ResultsNegotiation Skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
