Shakers Madrid, Community of Madrid, Spain Overview Shakers Madrid seeks a passionate SEO & SEM Manager to accelerate growth through organic and paid search channels. As a SEO and SEM Manager you will take ownership of paid and organic performance channels, driving high quality leads and shaping our long term performance strategy. This role combines strategy, execution, and optimization. You will work closely with the Marketing and Product teams, manage 1–2 team members, and drive results through smart planning, testing, and iteration. Responsibilities Define and lead our SEO and SEM growth strategy aligned with company OKRs and growth objectives. Build our positioning in the Spanish market and several European countries as part of the expansion plan. Manage, optimize, and scale performance marketing campaigns across Google Ads, Display, Retargeting and Search networks. Test emerging answer engines and develop a strategy to position Shakers prominently in AI powered search environments like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini. Optimize for AI Overviews, earn citations in generative answers, and align content with EEA T principles and topic based search behavior to ensure Shakers remains a trusted source in LLM driven interfaces. Conduct regular SEO audits and lead on site and off site SEO improvements with internal and external collaborators. Monitor competitors positioning and trends and translate learnings into the strategy. Build and evolve a keyword strategy and content roadmap to grow high intent traffic. Develop a modern link building strategy to increase Shakers presence in AI powered search results, including digital PR and earned media that improve visibility and citability within LLMs and answer engines. Develop and manage dashboards, reports and analyses to monitor key metrics such as CPL, CAC, ROAS, and other data. Propose quarterly strategies and prepare monthly reports for the management team. Collaborate with our technical freelance and support content stakeholders, presenting clear guidelines and goals to execute the roadmap efficiently. Align SEO and SEM efforts with brand, product, marketing and CRM CRO strategies to ensure full funnel consistency and work with other Shakers stakeholders to adapt to changing needs and upcoming campaigns for a 360 approach. Qualifications Have 3–5 years of experience in SEO and SEM, preferably in a fast paced B2B or marketplace environment. Know how to plan strategically but also enjoy rolling up your sleeves to get things done. Are highly skilled with tools like Google Ads, Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Sistrix, Screaming Frog, etc. Are comfortable analyzing performance metrics and identifying actionable insights to improve ROI and growth. Can communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners. Thrive in autonomous environments and bring a proactive, growth oriented mindset. Passionate about the future of work, marketplaces and innovation. Fluent in Spanish and English, a must. What’s in it for you The salary range for this position is between 38 000€ and 51 750€ gross annual salary with OTE.
