Come explore Novanta.Job SummaryAs a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and improving manufacturing processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement and develop solutions. Your focus will be on optimizing production processes, reducing costs and ensuring compliance.Job Description (primary responsibilities)- Providing technical support to production teams- Developing and implementing manufacturing processes and systems- Designing tools and equipment used in the manufacturing process- Conducting root cause analysis, troubleshoot, and improve processes.- Ensuring products are manufactured to meet quality standardsOutcomes / KPIs- Process Improvements- Manufacturing Efficiency / Cost Savings- Response time**Requirements**:- Possess a bachelor's in computer science or a related field- Proficiency in technical problem-solving- Be familiar with multiple programming languages such as Python, C#, and C/C++- Have excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams- Be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectivelyCompetencies- Innovation Management - Is good at bringing the creative ideas of others to market; has good judgment about which creative ideas and suggestions will work; has a sense about managing the creative process of others; can facilitate effective brainstorming; can project how potential ideas may play out in the marketplace.- Champions Customer Value Creation - Wins with Customers: Delivers innovative solutions that help customers differentiate themselves.
