This role will lead on all matters relating to data ownership, access, and quality across operational, commercial, and supply chain data, ensuring compliance with GDPR and supporting the delivery of reliable data for analytics and reporting.Key Responsibilities.- Define and embed governance policies across SAP and Azure environments- Establish and maintain business data ownership, access control, and classification models- Implement and maintain data quality checks, standards, and monitoring processes- Partner with Data Engineering and BI teams to establish data lineage, audit trails, and master data definitions- Support regulatory compliance including GDPR and internal audit requirements- Provide training, documentation, and governance awareness across departments- Act as the point of contact for all governance-related escalationsTech Stack & Environment- Azure Purview (or similar data catalog / metadata tool)- Microsoft Information Protection / Microsoft Purview Compliance- SAP ERP (ECC or S/4HANA) - particularly SAP Master Data structures- Power BI for data quality dashboards and governance reporting- Excel, SharePoint, Confluence (for documentation and process control)Requirements:- Proven experience as a freelance/contractor (must be autónomo)- 3+ years in a Data Governance, Data Quality, or Data Management role- Hands-on experience working with Azure data services and SAP ERP environments- Understanding of GDPR and experience applying it in a commercial or operational context- FMCG, manufacturing, or supply chain sector experience preferred- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, especially with IT, BI, and compliance teamsIf you're an experienced Data Governance Lead who has Freelance / Autónomo feel free to apply or send your C.VData Governance Lead #J-18808-Ljbffr
