  2. Manage requests coming from various market-specific teams through data-driven prioritization by keeping the long-term product vision in mind.
  3. Be able to work in Azure and Databricks environments, but be ready to switch to some other.

  5. Coordinate work activities with Business teams, other IT services, and other teams, if required.
  6. Drive the use of the Platform toolset and also focus on 'the art of the possible' demonstrations to the business as needed.
  7. Communicate with business stakeholders in the process of service design, training, and knowledge transfer.
  8. Support large-scale hypothesis testing and build data-driven models.
  9. Set KPIs and metrics to evaluate analytics solution given a particular use case.
  10. Translate requirements into modelling problems.
  11. Influence product teams through data-based recommendations.
  12. Research and bring to practice state-of-the-art methodologies.
  13. Create documentation for learnings and knowledge transfer.
  14. Create reusable packages or libraries.
  15. Manage team members' objectives and expectations.
  16. Organize day-to-day tasks and mid-term roadmap of releases, using ADO board or any other tool.
Qualifications

What you will need to succeed:

  1. 4+ years of experience as a data science Manager, leading scalable developments of Data Scientists and ML Engineers, preferably focused on development of reusable analytical toolkits, ideally in the field of time series forecasting.
  2. Experience building solutions in the supply chain space is preferred, with a particular emphasis on demand planning being a plus.
  3. 8+ years of experience in Statistical/ML techniques to solve supervised (regression, classification) and unsupervised problems, and in particular time series forecasting. Experience with Deep Learning is a plus.
