Nordic Innovators is looking for a Senior Consultant with direct experience in the EU Innovation Fund to lead high-impact, large-scale funding proposals for Europe´s top cleantech companies and industrial innovators. This is your chance to work at the intersection of innovation, sustainability, and project financing, and have a real-world impact on Europe´s green transition. Your role As an EU Innovation Fund Proposal Senior Consultant , you will: Lead and craft high-quality EU Innovation Fund proposals (IF, IF Hydrogen Auction, CEF, and similar). Collaborate with top tier cleantech companies, energy innovators, and industrial leaders. Develop business plans, financial models, technical feasibility studies, and GHG emission avoidance calculations. Coordinate multiple stakeholders across projects, ensuring smooth delivery under tight deadlines. Stay ahead of EU funding trends and emerging innovation opportunities. Contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing, mentorship, and continuous growth within Nordic Innovators. You will have the autonomy to lead , while benefiting from guidance and mentorship from experienced Team Leaders. What we´re looking for Proven experience leading and writing EU Innovation Fund proposals - you should know both the technical and financial parts of the proposal. Familiar with Relevant Cost methodology, business plans, financial models, GHG calculations - you know what makes a project innovative, replicable, and financially mature. Client management experience - you will guide and support our clients every step of the way. Experience leading others - you will be the go-to person for the project team. Knowledge of other EU funding programs is a plus (Horizon Europe Cluster 5, Clean Hydrogen Partnership, LIFE, IPCEI, Breakthrough Energy Catalyst). MSc or PhD in Business, Finance, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or related fields, preferably with renewable energy expertise (carbon capture, biofuels, green hydrogen, batteries, offshore wind, solar). Strong understanding of EU funding frameworks and procedures. Fluency in English (C1+). Proactive, independent, and collaborative. Excellent communication skills to engage with clients, co-workers, and project partners. Work permit in Spain or Portugal.
