Claims Processor Associate – German & English Cigna Corporation is a global health service company that provides insurance products and services directly to individuals and through employers and intermediaries. Responsibilities Provide the highest level of customer service, striving for first contact resolution and responding within given timelines. Knowledgeable on product types and able to respond to claims, managing new claims from start to finish. Handle all administration tasks related to the position: e‑mail, post, fax, fulfillment, etc. Manage all complaints received and ensure compliance with regulations in each country. Retain portfolio through cancellation requests and offer retention duties. Conduct call monitoring and quality review to rate team performance. Build relations with internal departments to ensure all resources are used for customer benefit and to coordinate with regional benefits and service partners where necessary. Identify potential process improvements and make recommendations to the team manager. Support other team members and provide resources enable all team goals to be achieved. Escalate customer complaints and act as the point of contact for nominated country clients. Qualifications & Skills Experience in life insurance products, claims environment and customer‑service focused organization. Experience at all levels of complaint resolution. Experience working in a contact centre environment. Ability to meet/exceed targets and manage multiple priorities. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Advanced level German (native speaker preferred) and advanced level English (native speaker preferred); other European languages are a plus. Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication to internal and external clients. Desirable commercial skills and ability to work under own initiative. Organize, prioritize and manage workflow to meet individual and team requirements. Quickly identify customer needs and exercise judgment in a professional and confident manner.
