Building Systems Design Engineer – Automation, Control

We embrace world class methodologies and technologies including information rich Building Information Modelling (BIM) to facilitate more efficient ways of working and design at all stages of the project life-cycle.We are seeking a Senior Engineer with strong expertise in the design of Telecom Electronics and Automation Systems to join our team in Spain. This role is focused on professionals who are passionate about developing detailed technical designs for building facilities and who want to grow within multidisciplinary projects of medium to high complexity in an international environment.Our projects span sectors such as Industrial Healthcare Education Leisure Aviation Commercial and Defense.If you enjoy solving complex technical challenges working with precision and bringing innovative control and automation solutions to life this role will inspire and stretch your engineering potential.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign integrated control and monitoring systems: BAS (Building Automation Systems), SCADA, DCIM, IoT platforms and associated infrastructure.Produce detailed technical documentation: calculations, schematics, diagrams, technical reports and specifications.Define spatial and connectivity requirements for telecom and automation systems in coordination with architectural teams.Collaborate with mechanical, electrical and plumbing disciplines to ensure seamless integration and system functionality.Participate in technical coordination meetings and contribute to project planning and execution.Propose innovative solutions to technical challenges and identify discrepancies in design outcomes.Support the development of technical proposals for bids and new opportunities.What we OfferAt AECOM Spain we offer a dynamic and inclusive work environment where innovation, collaboration and technical excellence are at the heart of everything we do.
