Senior Underwriter in Natural Resources Whether it’s aircraft, international business or offshore wind parks, Allianz Commercial has an extensive range of risks covered when it comes to protecting businesses. We are looking for a Senior Underwriter for our Natural Resources line based in Madrid (Spain). You will work in a team of highly experienced and motivated Underwriters with a great team spirit. Reporting to the Team Leader of Natural Resources in Spain, you will join the team as a Senior Underwriter, who will aim to make profitable new and renewal business to meet Line of Business (LoB) targets regionally including global elements. We are looking for someone who is passionate about driving and developing a customer centric culture at Allianz Commercial and loves to work in a global matrix organization. Underwriting Authorities, global MSU, Underwriting Guidelines, Rules and Principles. Ensure contract certainty is achieved on all accounts at time of inception. Contribute to development and execution of global Underwriting strategy for LoB regionally. Training, developing and coaching of less experienced staff (including Underwriters). Positively represent Allianz Commercial externally to the market with key brokers / distribution channels. Completion of professional insurance qualification (e.g. Specialized understanding of regional / local LoB insurance markets and competitor landscape, including global element. Good understanding of legal and regulatory framework.
