You and your team set the goals, build the software, deploy the code, and contribute to a growing software platform that will make a lasting impact in the field of cancer research and treatment.As the Senior Product Manager on the Tempus One Platform team, you’ll play a key role in designing, scoping, and building horizontal GenAI solutions that power innovation across the company. We partner closely with product and engineering teams to integrate state‑of‑the‑art GenAI capabilities into a wide range of products, enabling them to deliver smarter, more impactful experiences.What You'll DoImmerse yourself in the tough problems we’re solving, and team with scientists, engineers, and designers to develop elegant software solutions to solve those problemsBe a key player in defining business requirements, project execution plans, and launch strategyWork with developers and stakeholder teams to deliver product releases that are stable in production and satisfy scalability, reliability, and performance goalsConduct deep product analysis and use the data to guide the short‑and long‑term roadmap for the teamOwn stakeholder communication and expectation management around roadmap and delivery timelines for your productsLead operational change management for production changes and any related workflow impactsAnalyze and report on product performance and adoption metricsWhat We’re Looking For5+ years of experience in technical product management or building software within the technology or biotech industryExcellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to translate complex topics across diverse teams including engineering, operations, medical professionals, and data scientistsProven ability to manage the day‑to‑day technical and design direction for large‑scale systemsDemonstrated eagerness to learn new technologies and domains quicklyA collaborative mindset, enjoying learning from and working with diverse, talented teamsExperience with fast‑paced, agile environments, including coordinating cross‑team collaboration, troubleshooting roadblocks, and writing documentationFamiliarity with software development and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello)Bonus PointsExperience in platform software, SaaS, and/or artificial intelligence/machine learningExperience leveraging GenAI tools in day‑to‑day work to boost productivity, accelerate learning, and focus on high‑impact problems.Experience in biotech, genomics, and/or precision medicineWe are an equal opportunity employer.
