Join us THE ROLE The Warehouse Manager will plan, facilitate and implement an operation that delivers world‑class customer service across all departments at Estadio Bernabéu, ensuring operational quality and excellence with safe ordering, storage and movement of all product lines. The manager will provide day‑to‑day operational advice, standard operating procedures, best practice and guidance to direct report colleagues, employees and external suppliers, in line with business objectives and company standards. The role involves leading and developing a strong warehouse team and managing up to 50 temporary employees on match‑day or non‑match‑day while delivering exceptional service. Essential Functions Develop a service‑led work environment, ensuring offers and initiatives are implemented to deliver growth, profitability and continuous improvement. Participate and actively contribute to the operational function, annual plans, budgets and activities. Instil a culture of achievement, results and continuous improvement. Instigate and implement the best operational practice at site level. Co‑ordinate site operational activities as required. Implement clear SOP and SLA manuals throughout the catering operation and regulatory audit compliance with clear reporting. Plan for optimal delivery of a world‑class match‑day and non‑match‑day experience/customer experience and ensure the club surpasses customer expectations in line with agreed budgets. Actively manage operations to deliver against the budget and monthly forecast. Support the team to deliver against the departmental annual business plan. Accomplish warehouse HR objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring and adhering to policies and procedures. Meet warehouse operational standards by implementing production, productivity, quality and customer‑service standards, also resolving problems and identifying system improvements. Move inventory to and from warehouse and coordinate inventory transfers with related departments. Oversee the delivery of supplies and equipment to departments by receiving and transferring items. Maintain storage area by organizing floor space, adhere to storage design principles and recommend improvements. Maintain inventory by conducting daily/monthly physical counts, reconciling variances and inputting data. Utilize inventory system to record and track inventory flow between departments and perpetual inventories. Work with management team on month‑end inventory process. Keep equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, requiring preventive maintenance and calling for repairs. Exhibit excellent customer service. Strong interpersonal skills; can effectively communicate and relate to all levels within and outside the organization and create and build positive and productive relationships. Respond quickly and effectively to changing trends and circumstances, embrace change and fresh perspectives, learn from past mistakes and adjust accordingly. Ability to manage appropriate steps to get projects completed; strong ability to organise people and processes; can create a plan for resourceful workflow. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must have computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel. Requirements To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest level. Education Requirement Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Essential Experience Minimum of 3 years’ management experience in a fast‑paced, high‑volume conference centre, hotel or stadium warehouse environment preferably. Experienced in coaching team members through processes and leading where necessary. Ability to manage and communicate clearly and effectively with the team. Can work in a fast‑moving environment. Maintaining a customer‑focused approach to the management of all external relationships. Management of time, working to tight deadlines to ensure priorities are met.
