Are you a visual storyteller with a passion for creating captivating animations for paid advertising? We are seeking a talented and creative Motion Graphics Designer to join our Brand team at Factorial. As a Motion Graphics Designer, you will play a pivotal role in translating concepts into visually stunning and compelling motion graphics that resonate with our audience and drive our paid ad campaigns.


About the team
The Brand Studio focuses on building the Factorial brand. We're a small team of creatives, designers, strategists, filmmakers, and storytellers collaborating to create initiatives that contribute positively to Factorial. Our primary responsibilities include shaping and executing the global brand strategy, crafting and nurturing the Factorial brand across all dimensions, and offering support to many company teams.

We function like an internal agency or design studio; our work extends to every other team. We work to bring the brand to life at every level of the organization, whether it’s collaborating with marketing on paid ad campaigns or supporting Factorial culture through everyday interaction.


About the role
As our Motion Graphics Designer, you'll be a key player in our paid ads strategy. Your primary responsibility will be to bridge the gap between our design team and video production, ensuring a seamless integration of stunning visuals and engaging storytelling. Here's what your role entails:


Ownership: Actively engage with cross-functional teams, leveraging your creative insights to enhance the synergy between design concepts and business objectives.
Team-player: Work closely with our team of videomakers to enhance the overall visual experience of our projects.
Brand guardian: Understand, follow, and contribute to our brand guidelines to create visually cohesive narratives.
Storytelling: Use your creative flair to craft compelling stories around our products through visually stunning motion graphics.
Organizational Skills: Manage projects efficiently and communicate effectively with our videomaking team.
Project Management: Lead motion graphics projects from end-to-end, ensuring they align with our brand vision and are delivered on time.

Here's what we're looking for
- Mastery in graphic design, proficient in software such as Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) or other industry-standard tools.
- Strong implementation of design principles, including color theory, typography, and composition.
- Ability to create smooth and compelling animations, understanding of keyframe animation and motion paths, and knowledge of animation principles.
- Expertise with video editing concepts, transitions, and effects.
- Good communication skills in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).
