OXBO are delighted to be working with European leading IPP within the Renewable Energy Sector, specialising in Solar. As Solar Operations Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency of Solar power systems in Spain. Remote working, with occasional visits to site. Monitoring Solar PV systems via SCADA and other platforms, analysing performance and identifying issues or improvement opportunities. Implementing data-driven optimisation strategies and recommending system upgrades. Providing technical support and training to internal teams and external stakeholders. Supporting commissioning, testing, and project handovers in collaboration with project managers. 3 + years in solar operations, O&M, or similar technical roles, including experience working in Spain. ~ Strong understanding of PV technology, inverters, AC/DC systems, and power electronics. ~ Proven experience in monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar power systems. ~ Experience with monitoring tools like SCADA. ~ Proficiency in data analysis tools(Excel, Python). ~ Knowledge of local regulations and safety standards for solar installations. ~ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field (Master's preferred). Fluent in Spanish, and advanced in English. ~
